After ten years racing Ducatis, Team Pedercini will switch to Kawasaki motorcycles for the 2008 World Superbike season after signing a partnership agreement with the factory PSG-1 Corse team.
The agreement will see the current backmarkers use '07 factory ZX-10Rs, to be updated throughout the season, while Pedercini will also join PSG-1 at official Kawasaki tests.
"The time to change has come," declared team principal Donato Pedercini. "We needed to find new incentives in order to come back to aim at great results in Superbike. I think that Pierguido Pagani's project is the right one. It will allow my team to compete on equal terms with most of the rival teams, and it lets me carry on my job on engines and motorbikes.
"The idea of helping to develop the motorbike fascinates me a lot and I think it can give me big satisfactions. After 10 years, changing our working routine will seem strange but we have a lot of work to do and I'm looking forward to it. However I want to thank
